Connecting leaders with their potential

We’re here to grow wāhine leadership in business, workforce, community and whānau

You’re on a mission to make a difference.

E hoa, we see you.

You’re searching for ways to breath life into the mission you’ve had on your heart for years.

Maybe you lack the confidence to take the next step, and you’ve struggled to find the right growth and development opportunities.

Perhaps you feel isolated in your role, and you haven’t had the right support around you. You’ve been looking for others who “get it”.

You may not call yourself a leader, but those feelings you’ve got - the niggle, the butterflies, the uncertainty? That’s your leadership potential telling you - you’re ready to step into the arena.

Te Kāinga Wāhine Membership

At Te Kāinga Wāhine, we’re all about championing your leadership journey.

Whether you're running a business, navigating a career path, leading your community or whānau, we're here to grow your confidence and capacity as a leader.

Te Kāinga Wāhine membership provides a space to learn, grow and connect.

Membership Includes:

  • Facilitated kōrero in small groups who meet monthly - think of them like your brains trust - there to unpack, celebrate, stretch and move together.

We value each and every one of our members, as unique, diverse individuals with their own experiences to share, and we learn from one another.

  • Monthly workshops delivered to grow your leadership on a range of topics - self-leadership, business, people leadership, all from a kaupapa Māori perspective.

  • Connect and collaborate with other Te Kāinga Wāhine members. Reach out for support, and contribute to the journeys of others.

  • Events big and small - we make opportunities for members and non-members to come together to connect and celebrate as wāhine Māori.

  • Dive deep into specific areas of your mahi with a coach one-to-one, pulling together a strategy and plan for action.

Te Kāinga Wāhine Podcast

Our podcast brings you stories and lessons to inspire, connect, and grow your leadership as wāhine. It sparks curiosity and encourages you to explore your own leadership potential. Check out some of our favourite episodes:

Nana’s tēpu always had a spread ready to go for the next person who walked in the door. The kettle was always a moment away from boiling, and if you were really lucky, Grandad would pull a few shiny coins out of his pockets to go into yours.

We remember stories of the past being shared there. Dreams for the future. And of course, a few yarns about the present.

The tēpu was a place of gathering, sharing and connecting. Just like our newsletter.
