I am Māori, Cornish and English, I am a women, a mother, a wife, a supporter, a protector of our environment, a business owner, a book sharer and a learner of my language.

My experience

Immersed in health and wellbeing since a young age, I've gained tools in my kete Hauora that I love to share with others in my whānau and my community. From a keen sportsperson into health & physical education, then focused on motherhood and supporting others, I depleted myself. I learnt how to let go of past aspirations, how to keep a business running through unwellness and how to create new business opportunities that align with my passions and lifestyle while living with a chronic condition. I listen and learn from others that enrich and support me to step forward with growing confidence while putting importance on supporting myself, my tāne, my tamariki and my whānau.

My tāne and I have been directors of our family owned business in the construction sector for the past 16 years which help to shade and protect others. We service people in the Tairāwhiti region in which we also live. With the physicality of this mahi and my personal physical restrictions, I endeavoured to find other streams of work to secure future earning ability.

My mahi

I followed my passion for menstrual awareness and stepped into importing women empowerment books from an independent publisher to which i share online and in-person.

I partner with a haircare brand that has allowed me to embrace my natural curls, allowing me to earn a commission on a consumable product and help others to do the same.

I am dedicated to increasing the awareness of supporting women to explore their own tools to sit in their powerful selves, holding wānanga online using Dr Ngahuia Murphy's pukapuka to create community. I share my skill of incorporating rest into our daily lives holding monthly Yoga Nidra sessions to increase the awareness of a balanced life steeped in our te ao Māori mātauranga.
